My latest challenge (to myself) is to lose 100 lbs. To that end, I have committed to the Medifast Program and I started publishing a blog~ http://www.avirtuouswoman.wordpress.com It's a place where I can share my experiences along this journey. I find that it helps me stay on track by having a place to blow off a little steam and more importantly, to express my hard-earned bragging rights when the scales reflect my progress.

In December, 2004 we launched a CD of Hymns, Psalms and Spiritual Songs. Some of these songs have been tucked away in my heart for over 40 years. I have a tender spot for the (Negro) Spirituals which served as a safety net for my ancestors as they grew strong while surviving slavery. There are ten songs, including: It is Well with My Soul, Deep River, Great Day, All That You Need is Jesus, Via Dolorosa, Motherless Child, Jesus is a Rock and Give Me Jesus. All profits from sales will be donated to further the work of JCET, Inc.
