We're so happy to say that Harney & Sons Tea is part of the gift bag to be given out at the 30th Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards. So, it's not really a case of us in the news, but rather that we are being given to the news. Q: What is a tea sachet?
A: Our tea sachets are pyramid-shaped silky nylon teabags that are filled with whole-leaf loose tea. The benefit of the pyramid shape is that it allows the tea leaves to expand fully, thus allowing the full tea taste to develop. The nylon is food safe and stable in boiling water. | chocolate covered pecan clusters, Mascot makes their unique candies on site, and their chocolate covered pecans are their top seller. “We roast and salt the pecans first, and then we coat them with chocolate. After the pecans are inspected for quality, they are lined up by a singulator. As they go through the process, the chocolate is put on the bottoms of the pecans, then they roll onto a cold slab to set the chocolate. From there, they move under a chocolate waterfall that puts chocolate on the top. Then, they move through a cooling tunnel. We can produce about 1,000 pounds of chocolate covered pecans an hour,” Kenny said. |
